I can see that Artists are integrating together more and more these days. This is some pretty slick rapping, I haven’t heard rapping like this since Look At Me Now – Chris Brown. That song was pretty sick but I still don’t approve of Chris Brown. I don’t think anyone with a heart can. What do you guys think about him. Are people still hating on him. When your a celebrity you can’t do things like that. Even with my celebrity status, I would a role model for other. On the other hand we are humans and we do make mistakes, yet I still don’t agree with Chris Brown! Comment Below people!
Donavan Johnson (born July 9, 1985) better known by his stage name XV is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Wichita, Kansas. It’s said that his major rap influences were Andre 3000, who is his favorite rapper of all time, Rivers Cuomo from Weezer, Jay-Z, John Mayer, Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco. Now I think that this song is pretty awesome.Comment Below!

DECIPHER:
I was given a gift
could picture the pain of my people, paint it perfect, depict it as if
it was me trying to get at a citizenship, some wouldn’t get on the ship
but I understand them, call you chink, can’t understand it
but you recognize hate in their eyes, but they can’t see yours, your eyes are slanted
our parents were fiending for their share of the green
was it arrogant greed, the American dream, or the care to succeed as America’s cleaners
apparently we the slaves now, picking their cotton and pressing it flat
pick it up promptly, ready in half an hour to an hour, now the question is asked
credit or cash? we probably better at math or so I’ve been told
tried to divide our division in half, in addition to that, they know we got soul
low and behold, we folding their clothes, language barriers bury us
we drive terribly, curious how we got cast in Fast and the Furious
the problem being Bobby Lee is proudly being an Uncle Tomagachi
Hollywood got him good, wouldn’t watch me serving hot tea, work a wok, he the perfect Chinese
role model, eyeglasses made out of Coke bottles
TaeKwanDo spokes model, sister’s an import model
I am not gonna follow.
MANIFEST:
What’s wrong with an Asian rapping? everything.
people rather see me study medicine,
‘stead of picking up a mic, spitting in the booth
try to pick a fight cause you looking similar to Bruce
but I had soul as a lasso, through the backdoor
had to blast off from the plateau
went from sitting in the back row to killing rap shows
leaving assholes baffled, I put us on the map yo
never mind your remarks Imma go hard
till I’m getting more customers than Walmart
and we’re not just doctors, watch us
rock this mic till hiphop just prospers
get rid of the middleman now wit the internet, better give hundred percent
and credit the veterans never contend wit them, listen they telling them “Mani went in”
I’m breaking the trend, maybe I’m born to be different
what an epiphany, gonna make history now
who the ones that did this to me now, throw a diss get a fist to the mouth Imma show yall
please make no noise, I don’t mind if you hate my voice, respect me
and it’s not just music, props to the man overseas who made Old Boy
this the new generation of Asians, killing all the stereotypes having a hell of a time
always thought if you living by the rules and you never making moves, then it’s better to die
the majority will generalize instead of giving recognition solely cause of the shape of our eyes?
sweeter than grapes on a vine, all you suckas need to see greatness, put the hate to the side
let me rise.
This song was just leaked to the web a few days ago. This track is from Blue slide Park. Although this is a new track. Mac Miller is one of the most popular artists now a days. If you have ever seen him live he is good but his shows should be a bit bigger. What do you think about this song? Comment below!
I think Logic is a pretty good rapper. He seems like he is a little bit new to the scene but like everyone else, I think he will get the hang of it. New rappers as long as they are good, then I don’t care what they story is. Well I do but he is probably to busy to tell me first hand. I just want good music to listen!
“Logic – All I Do“ is nothing like these other rappers.. who pay no homage to real music. Logic is bringing back real music. All these other young rappers are just doing the same as stuff. People hate seeing this but everyone needs exposure some way or another.. im a young rapper just trying to change music and bring back the real hip hop which made us all fall in love with rap.. I promise if you check me out you will not be disappointed. If people never supported logic then no one would be here now.”
He kinda sounds like Lil Wayne but he has a slightly fresher feel to his music. He is creating a new pathway to brush past all the losers.Childish Gambino – Bonfire From the beginning, his style seemed to be a bit basic but then again he wasn’t doing music then.Instead, he was a hit star on YouTube. For now I think he has really taken his music career to the next level. Tell me what you think about him and Comment Below!
I think people just like the name Mac Miller. His rapping is flawless. His beats are pretty good.I do think that some could be better but this song gets good quick. Tell me what you think and Comment Below!
“DJ White Lotus is a performing artist from Albany, NY. Rooted in hip hop, he began DJing in 1997. Lotus challenges the average listener with his eclectic taste but rewards the diverse fan with a unique live experience.”. New to SoundCloud this DJ White Lotus – Eminem – The Way I Am (mashup) this is amazing. I always thought the back beats behind Eminem’s music could use some work. This is a clean hit to a fresh track. Comment Below!
Eyedea and Abililties are or should I sadly say “were” an influential indie rap duo consisting of DJ Abillities and Eyedea. Sadly Eyedea (Michael Larsen) passed away in his sleep on october 16, 2010.
On a less heavy side, Eyedea was a rhyming machine, he was a well known freestyle champion and it shows. He left us with his brilliantly poetic rhymes most of which are incredibly philosophical and moral based to immortalize himself forever.
Burn Fetish
This song ‘Burn Fetish‘ is amazing to say the least, it’s poetic and art on it’s own. No need for a melody or a beat to make it artistic, simply just by reading the lyrics you can tell that time passion were put into the song. It doesn’t need a fancy hook with a random diva singing something inspirational or motivational in between verses to ‘tie the song together’.
This song from beginning to end depicts a message and a struggle that the narrator is trying to express.
stands out as one of his most truthful pieces. It covers the topics of death, drugs and his schizophrenic behavior in Eyedea’s own honest thoughts, feelings and satire.
With lines like
“One last goodbye before I take my .45, shoot a hole in the sky, rip it open and climb inside” – Perhaps one of the most poetic/beautiful ways of referencing blowing your brains out.
and
“My worst habits waking up at least once a day. Balance barefoot on a needle heaven’s just a jump away”
It’s sad to lose an Artist with so much creativity and depth. He left us with his brilliantly poetic rhymes most of which are incredibly philosophical and moral based to immortalize himself forever.
That’s the amazing thing about music, it allows anyone to leave an imprint of themselves in any phase or moment of their life to look back on forever.
